Do you ever have this kind of day?
When it feels like your waffle batter just oozes right out of the waffle iron?
I have been having 2 of these days, back to back.
Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
The kids went back to school and hubby went back to work all on Tuesday.
I was left to tackle all the remains of everybody being home for these last 2 weeks. I haven't even started taking down Christmas decorations, which is driving me crazy.
My dog decided to go crazy on me Tuesday morning and my dryer vent came unattached at the wall so I couldn't wash laundry that had been piling up for a week.
My other dog freaked out because we put new floors upstairs and now she won't even go up there. She has taken up permanent residence in the family room; hair and all.
I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off for 2 days, going in circles, doing lots of stuff but in the end feeling like I have accomplished nothing.
Today has started off well, aside from my daughter spazzing out over a Polo shirt that she didn't get for Christmas.
We'll see how the rest of today goes.

Ha, it can happen to us all. It's always crazy when the New Year starts.
